Coltellerie Berti is an handicraft company for four generations. Founded in 1895 in the north of Florence, it still produces knives with the family handicraft method: every knife is the result of the work of a single artisan and its initials are engraved on the blade. The production is entirely Italian and entirely handmade to keep intact the authenticity of a true art that creates valuable and valuable knives. The range is very wide and there are several lines that include knives for each dish; meat knives, bread knives, cheese knives and Japanese knives.

BERTI COLTELLERIE BEEF KNIVES
Stainless steel rigorously smooth blade obtained with laser cutting that allows a high quality cut with handle in plexiglass or "Cornotech". What is Cornotech? It is a special resin that replaces horn use after 2012 in temporarily blocked exports from the African reference area due to a cattle disease. This resin is very similar to the horn both visually and to the touch, does not age and can be washed in the dishwasher.
COLTELLERIE BERTI BREAD KNIVES
The only kitchen knife that can have the sawed blade is just that used for bread or for dried desserts such as tarts. The blade must be at least 20 cm long to allow perfect cutting. Washing in the dishwasher of the knives is allowed but for the quality of all these knives and preferable hand wash.
